Answer routine customer
emails, automatically.
An AI front desk that drafts replies to the routine email your business already knows the answers to — prices, hours, “where’s my invoice” — and knows which emails to refuse.
Every small business has an inbox full of the same questions. What are your prices. What time are you open. Where’s my invoice. Do you take walk-ins. You know every answer by heart — which is exactly why replying to them, ten times a week, is such a waste of your attention. And every email that waits too long is a booking or a sale that quietly went elsewhere.
An AI front desk that knows where to stop
Deskless is a small program you install on your own computer. It reads the policies and records you give it — your price list, your hours, your FAQs, your diary — and drafts a reply to the routine email you’d otherwise answer yourself. The useful part isn’t that it replies. It’s that it knows which emails are not its to answer:
- Routine questions — prices, hours, returns, “where’s my invoice” — drafted from what you told it.
- Money, complaints and clinical questions — handed straight to a person, every time.
- Anything it isn’t sure about — it says so and passes it over rather than guessing.
It never sends behind your back
By default Deskless drafts every reply and waits — it won’t email a customer without you reading the message first. When you’re ready you can switch on auto-send for the routine replies you trust, and even then the hard lines stay: it will not invent a fact, quote a price it wasn’t given, promise a date, or send anything about a refund, a complaint, health or legal. Those always go to you. To write a draft it sends that one message and the relevant policy to an AI service (Anthropic), whose commercial terms mean that content is not used to train their models; your customer list never leaves your machine.
It sounds like you, not like a robot
The drafts are built from your own words — your prices, hours and policies, and the messages you have already sent — and you set the tone it writes in. So a reply reads like your business wrote it, not like a generic chatbot. And because you see every draft before it goes, anything that isn’t how you’d put it you fix in a tap, before a customer ever reads it.

How the front desk behaves
Can AI really answer my customer emails?
For routine questions, yes — Deskless drafts a reply from your own prices, hours and policies. It does not make things up; if it does not know, it says so and hands the email to you.
Will it send emails without me seeing them?
By default, no — every reply is drafted and waits for your approval, so it won’t email a customer you haven’t seen. You can later switch on auto-send for the routine replies you trust, and even then anything about money, a complaint, health or legal, or anything it isn’t sure of, still waits for you.
What kinds of email will it refuse to answer?
Anything about money, a complaint, or a medical or clinical question is handed straight to a person. It also passes over anything it is not confident it has the facts for.
Will it sound like my business, or like a robot?
Like your business. Drafts are written from your own prices, policies and the messages you have already sent, in a tone you set — and because you can review the drafts before they go, you can fix anything that doesn’t sound like you in a tap.
What does it cost?
The Support department is £99/$99 a month; Front Desk Plus, which adds email answering to reminders and reviews, is £299/$299. The first month is free with no contract.
Send me your inbox.
Tell me which emails you answer over and over and send an export of the records behind them. I’ll set Deskless up on your real inbox and send you back a page like the homepage, so you can see it answer your own email before you decide anything.
