Deskless for
veterinary clinics.
Fewer no-shows, booster reminders and the same client questions handled from your own records — with a hard line at anything clinical, which always goes to a person.
A veterinary clinic lives and dies by its diary and its inbox. Vaccination boosters, dental checks, post-op reviews, the endless “what time are we booked in?” and “are you open Saturday?” — and every missed appointment is a slot a worried owner further down the list would have taken. Deskless was built for exactly this kind of business: busy, appointment-led, with a front desk that never quite stops.
Fewer no-shows, calmer phones
Installed on a computer at your own clinic, Deskless reads your diary — never writes to it — and the day before each appointment drafts a friendly reminder in your voice. It also answers the client questions that flood a vet reception:
- “What time is Bella booked in?” and “how much notice to cancel?”, from your diary and policy.
- “When is the next booster due?” and opening-hours questions, from your own records.
- A cancelled slot, offered to the next client on your waiting list before it goes cold.
- A review request to the happy owner after a good visit, in your words, once.
The clinical line it will not cross
This is the part that matters for a vet. Deskless never gives medical or clinical advice. “My dog is vomiting”, “is this lump normal”, “can he have ibuprofen” — anything symptom- or treatment-related is handed straight to a person, every time, with no automatic answer. The same goes for money and complaints: a refund, a disputed bill, an upset owner all go to you. And every reply is drafted and waits for your approval until you decide you trust it.
Your practice management system is safe
Deskless reads your records where they already sit and can never write to them — it will not touch your practice management system or change a single entry. In fact it doesn’t hook into your PIMS at all: it works from an export of your appointments and clients, so there is nothing wired into your live system that could go wrong, and nothing to unpick if you ever stop. To draft a reply it sends only that message and the matching record to an AI service (Anthropic), whose commercial terms mean that content is not used to train their models; reminders are plain templates with no AI at all, and your client and patient data never leave the clinic.
First month free, no contract. Send us an export of your appointments and we’ll build you a page like the homepage, running on your own clinic’s data, so you can see it work before you commit.
Questions from vet clinics
How does Deskless help a veterinary clinic with no-shows?
It reminds every owner the day before their pet’s appointment, drafted from your diary, and answers confirmation, notice-period and “when is the booster due” questions automatically — so fewer appointments are simply forgotten.
Can it answer common client questions?
Yes, the routine ones: opening hours, appointment times, when a vaccination or check-up is due, cancellation policy — all drafted from your own records and policies, for you to approve.
Does it give any medical or clinical advice?
Never. Any question about symptoms, treatment, medication or a pet’s health is handed straight to a person and is never answered automatically. The same applies to money and complaints.
Does it plug into our PIMS, like ezyVet or Covetrus?
It doesn’t plug in at all, and that is deliberate. Deskless works from an export of your appointments and clients rather than connecting to your PIMS, so there is nothing wired into your live system that could go wrong and nothing to disconnect if you stop. If you can export your diary, you are set.
Will it change records in our practice management system?
No. Deskless reads your records where they sit and can never write to them. It will not alter your practice management system or your diary — it drafts messages for you to approve.
See it on your clinic’s diary.
Send me an export of your appointments and tell me how your clinic runs. I’ll set Deskless up on your real data and send you back a page like the homepage, with your own reminders and replies on it, so you can see it work before you commit.
